Actor and father of two Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is gearing up for baby number three alongside girlfriend Lauren Hashian.

The happy couple recently announced they have a baby girl on the way, who will join sisters 16-year-old Simone Alexandra and 2-year-old Jasmine Lia.

But all the excitement had to be put on hold over the weekend, after "something scary" happened to his youngest daughter, according to Entertainment Tonight.

The actor posted a video to his Instagram on Sunday revealing that his family spent the night in the hospital due to an emergency involving the toddler.

Johnson told his fans:

"This past Saturday night something happened to me and my family that I would never want to happen to any of you guys out there. But of course emergencies do happen. We were up all night in the emergency room. We had something scary that happened with our little baby girl, Jasmine."

The "Jumanji" star didn't go into details about the incident, but said his daughter is now okay. And he took the time to thank those that helped his family through the difficult situation:

"Things got a lil' hairy this weekend. Thank you LAFD first responders & UCLA medical team. We're grateful to you all and if you ever need anything, I got your back."

The expectant father said he hoped other parents wouldn't have to go through anything similar, but offered up a piece of advice in case they do.

Johnson told his Instagram followers:

"To all you mommies and daddies out there, when emergencies like this happen, I would just highly recommend that you stay as calm and as focused as possible because our little babies energetically, they pick up on what we're putting out. Especially in times of stress."

The family has not announced a due date for their latest bundle of joy, but she's expected to arrive in spring, Dearly previously reported.
