Plane Carrying Bachelorette Party Crashes, Killing All On Board

In the scheme of things, minor quarrels and fights with friends don't matter. They're insignificant and unimportant. Their silliness comes to light when something tragic happens.

This past weekend, an entire bridal party was killed when their private plane crashed as they were returning from a luxurious bachelorette party. Twenty-eight-year-old Mina Basaran was a businesswoman from Turkey. She, along with her seven bridesmaids and the entire crew aboard the plane were killed. She was celebrating her upcoming wedding to Murat Gezer.

The flight took off from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates and was supposed to land back in  Istanbul. It reached an altitude of 35,000 feet and was in flight for about an hour. The plane was in midair when it suddenly plummeted to the ground and burst into flames near the Zagros  Mountains outside the Iranian city of Shahr-e Kord. Villagers discovered the wreckage; DNA tests were needed to identify the victims who are all women.

Bad weather was thought to be the cause of the crash, but investigators have since ruled that out. The 11 souls on board were unidentifiable. The passengers on the plane included Zeynep Coşkun, Ayşe And, Burcu Urfalı, Aslı İzmirli, Liana Hananel, Jasmin Baruh and Sinem Akay.

The bachelorette party was held in Dubai, where Basaran posted several Instagram photos and videos of the fun-filled weekend. She can be seen on social media holding heart-shaped balloons and having fun at a nightclub in Dubai with her close friends. There, they attended a Rita Ora concert.

The bride-to-be was seen in photos holding a bouquet of flowers. She was also snapped outside the plane before it's fatal take-off. A photo taken from inside the conveyance shows her wearing a denim jacket with the words "˜Mrs  Bride' and "˜better together' on it.

The plane was thought to be her father's. He named a block of luxury apartments in Istanbul after her, "Mena Towers." the bride-to-be worked for her father's company before her sudden and unexpected death.

This tragic event reminds us to hold those we love close; to forget the little things that bother and annoy us, and just love each other.
