I've heard from my friends with tattoos that once you get one, it's addicting and you'll want to get another. I don't have any ink for that reason since I'm not sure how I'll feel when I'm 50 and no longer a twenty-something.
This guy knows a thing or two about that. Known as Eli Ink for good reason, this guy got one tattoo at some point along the way and the rest was, as they say, history. What started off as a fairly healthy affinity for body modification in the tattoo and piercing department has over the years turned into something else entirely.
Here's how the now 27-year-old looked before his transformation.
Then he got into tattoos and piercings. At the phase below, he rocks an abnormal face tattoo and piercing look, but he's still recognizable.
With the addition of the deep black sections in the image below, you can see the groundwork for the transformation that would eventually make him look like a totally different person.
Then things started getting REALLY weird. This isn't the kind of guy you'd want to run into in a dark alley.
He explained it like this to MailOnline:
In my opinion, the only person who will ever understand my transition properly is me. I don't attempt to describe it to anyone. I've always been blown away by art itself. Picasso is a huge childhood inspiration to me, especially abstract art, but I do like all forms of art. Body art was just the next local step for me growing up. I wanted to look like an abstract character in one of Picasso's paintings. I love the abstract look, no thought, just pure expression.
Here's how he's looking today. Be warned. This is not for the faint of heart.
I...uh...I don't even know what to say here. This can't be healthy. He seems to be really happy though, so I guess that's all that really matters. If you want to see more of his creepy body mods, be sure to follow him on Instagram @eliinkpiercer.
