When little baby Aiden decided to make his appearance on February 6 at Amita Health hospital in Chicago, he had no idea he was upholding a long family tradition.  

Incredibly, both Aiden's mother, Kyrsten Moreno, and his grandmother, Nadine Hugmeyer, share the same February 6 birthday!

"I was like, "˜Are you kidding me? Wait a minute!'" recalled Dr. Diane Leonard. "Then I started thinking, "˜Have I ever heard this before? No.'"

The chances of a child, parent, and grandparent all having the same birthday are slim "“ just one in 48 million!

To celebrate this momentous occasion, hospital staff brought the happy family a cake and sang "Happy Birthday" to all three of them.

An exhausted but ecstatic Kyrsten joked that Aiden's birthday was payback for all the birthdays she stole from her own mom.

"Well, I definitely stole it from my mom," she joked. "So I have a feeling this is my payback."

Neither Kyrsten nor Nadine thought Aiden would actually be born on their birthday.

"I'm like, there's no way he's going to be born on my birthday," Kyrsten said.

Now that he's here, though, they don't think his birthday was just chance.

"I don't think it was a coincidence," Nadine said. "I think it was meant to be."
