Natalie Walsh is a nurse and knows a few things about disease and illness. Walsh's seven-year-old daughter had a headache that quickly turned out to be more than just a headache. Soon her daughter's temperature climbed to a dangerous level, and Walsh took her to the hospital.
She is sharing her story with everyone to spread the word about an illness that can sometimes baffle medical professionals "“ Lyme disease. When Walsh first took her daughter to the hospital, they found a lump on her head everyone thought may be a spider bite.
They treated her for the bite and sent her home. But, it wasn't a spider bite and the girl's symptoms got worse. Walsh took her daughter to a different medical facility, and they finally got the Lyme disease diagnosis.
