It came as a complete shock to me when numerous cases of sexual assault allegations were levied against Bill Cosby.

For fans of The Cosby Show it begged the question: "˜who the hell were we watching all this years?'

A family man or a sexual predator?

Lisa Bonet played the much loved Denise Huxtable on the show.

The actress, now 50, has revealed she has always known there was something "˜sinister' about her former TV dad.

In a new interview with Porter Edit, Lisa said she "˜always' sensed a "˜darkness' in Cosby, 80.

She added: "˜There was no knowledge on my part about [Bill Cosby's] specific actions, but... There was just energy.'

"˜And that type of sinister, shadow energy cannot be concealed.'

Lisa shot to fame on the cult 1980s sitcom, but was rumored to have had a difficult working relationship with Cosby during the show's eight-year-run.

Lisa infamously posed naked for a cover of Interview magazine "“ much to Cosby's disdain.

But Bonet hinted in the interview that there was more to her decades-long feud with Cosby.

Speaking about his current legal situation she simply said: "˜I don't need to say "˜I told you so' [about Bill Cosby].'

"˜I just leave all that to karma and justice and what will be.'

"˜And if I had anything more to reveal then it would have happened a long time ago. That's my nature. The truth will set you free.'

The actress also opened up about her marriage to AquaMan actor Jason Momoa.

She and Momoa were first introduced by friends, and the beauty revealed that she fell for Jason instantly.

She said: "˜I can't say it was full-on from the moment we saw each other, but we have been together from the day that we met.'

"˜In that moment, love came and it came big, and he did not run as I think a lot of men do. He basically picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, caveman style!'

The pair welcomed two children together Lola, 10, and Nakoa-Wolf, age nine.

Lisa also mother to daughter Zoe, 29, from her six-year marriage to musician Lenny Kravitz.
