Dogs are so lucky that they get to go for car rides. Ever try doing that with a cat? It's not a good time. They're too small to see out the window, and generally they can't sit still for longer than 30 seconds before trying to bolt to the gas pedal.

But now cats have access to a great product that can only be described as a cat hammock.

The newest accessory attaches to your car window and lets your furry friend hang out and enjoy the ride. It boasts "industrial strength suction cups and braces" which "easily mount to windows."

The Cat Hammock is sold through Tooty Store, and is currently on sale for $39.97. Though the product isn't specifically made for vehicles, that doesn't seem to stop people from using it.

Though some people think the idea is genius, others are worried it's more of a hazard than a good idea.

"They want to say cell phones are a distraction. Having a damn cat in the driver's window is a way bigger distraction."

"Animal cruelty at its best. Can see cats die in hot cars might as well put them in a greenhouse."
