Every now and then we all get the craving for "comfort food", and for many people that's usually something that's not always healthy, or something heavy in carbs. Well, here I am to bring to you the carb loaded option, but trust me, it's well worth it...John Kennedy White House Fettuccine!

What's great about this recipe is that you can change it up to whatever you'd like! You can add grilled chicken into it, shrimp, both...or even make a smaller batch of it and use it as a side fixin for your dinner.

Ever since I made this, it's become a staple recipe with my kids they absolutely love it! And the truth is, whats not to love? Simple, quick, and tasty...yup, that hits all the checks on my list for an easy to put together recipe!

1. Boil noodles in a large pot for about 12 minutes until they are al dente.

2. Meanwhile in a large skillet, melt butter and then toss in the chopped shallots and saute for about 2 minutes.

3. Add in the chicken stock and cook on high for 4 minutes, and then add in half and half, sour cream, parmesan, pepper, and salt. Allow to cook until heated through completely.

4. Add in the cooked pasta and toss to blend.

5. Serve immediately while hot. Enjoy!

  • 1 box of fettuccine pasta
  • 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 6 tablespoons of chopped shallots

  • 1 cup half and half cream

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
