What does toddler need to know about sex-ed?
The power couple welcomed Silas Randall Timberlake in 2015 and he seems to be growing up faster than most kids - but not in terms of size.
Biel explained that having an open conversation with her son will allow him to have a better understanding of sexuality when he grows up.
"We're using technical terms ... we shower together, and [we say], "˜This is what I've got. This is what you've got.' We just talk about it. I know it's really young, but I really believe that if you start this early, there's no shame. I don't want to tell him, "˜Keep your private parts,' and this and that. "It's a beautiful thing. You have it and mine is different and it's cool, man. We have to respect ourselves and respect each other. So I believe it starts really young."
Now a few months later, a photo of Biel and Silas is causing quite the stir...
"It's no wonder we have children with 'gender identity' problems"
A recent photo of Biel smooching her three-year-old boy has many people upset.
"I thought they had a boy," wrote one Instagram user.
"I thought this was her and a girl. The outfit looks girly too," commented another.
Some fans also criticized Biel for kissing her son on the lips.
"What a disgusting ... woman," someone wrote.
Others came to the couple and child's defense.
"Y'all are seriously way too bothered by a kid's hair length? Is the kid happy? That's all that matters. What a beautiful moment between a mother and her child. Thanks for sharing with us."
"If ya'll can't handle different people with different lives then just live in a box without internet."
Do you think Silas will grow up to have "gender identity" problems?
Biel and Timberlake are not the only celebrity parents to be shamed for their child's appearance.
