Add Some Flavor To Your Water With These Flavor Infused Ice Cubes

Shared

Are you ready to take your drinks to the next level? Flavored Ice Cubes are a genius way to jazz up your boring beverages without using powders or sweeteners.

These frozen fruit infused cubes are perfect for Sunday brunch, backyard parties or lounging by the pool. Add a couple cubes to a champagne flute and pour in some of your favorite bubbly for a fun twist on a classic mimosa...delish!

There are so many ways that you can add some excitement to your drinks using frozen ice cubes.

Why not freeze Kool-Aid for a colorful and fun rainbow drink for birthday parties?

You can also puree your fruit before freezing it in trays.

You can also use a muffin tin instead of a ice cube tray. This is especially useful if you want to freeze whole slices of lemon or lime.

You can even freeze leftover coffee to make extra-delicious iced coffees whenever the craving strikes!

You can get the full list of what you need to make our flavored ice cubes below. Let us know how they turn out, and feel free to experiment with the flavors to make them suit your tastes.

Materials

  • Selection of chopped fruit, veggies and/or herbs (we used cucumber, grapefruit, strawberries, basil, lime, lemon, raspberries, blueberries, and ginger)
  • Ice cube tray
  • Water
  • Green Tea (optional)

Directions

Chop up the veggies, fruit and herbs that you will be using and place them in an empty ice cube tray.

Next, pour water into the ice cube tray. You could also try using different flavors of tea instead of water (we poured green tea in with some pieces of lemon and fresh ginger)

Place the ice cube tray in the freezer until completely solid.

Add your choice of cubes to your favorite drinks! Pop some in a glass of water or in a cocktail for an extra burst of flavor!
