Mama June, who rose to fame on the show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, stunned the world when she dropped over 300lbs. It took a gastric sleeve, a tummy tuck, skin removal surgeries, and a breast lift to achieve her goals, but Mama June finally hit them.

""This surgery is the scariest thing I've ever done, but I mean, there is a skinnier person inside of me. I've worked my ass off, working out getting healthy," said Mama June at the time. "And now I feel like becoming the person on the outside that I always felt like on the inside."

But Mama June's journey wasn't all that easy afterwards. She battled health problems, and found herself in the hospital multiple times.

"I've been through hell and back the last few months. I've been through a lot within the last year. I don't wanna give away too much, but it's been crazy," she told ET. "There have been some crazy ones, anywhere from being in a hospital a ton of times. It's just crazy."

One of those health scares was when Mama June was thought she was going blind. Her boyfriend, Geno, drove her to the hospital.

With all of her health issues, it was hard for Mama June to keep on track with her dieting and exercise regime. This is one of the story lines for the upcoming season of her new show, Mama June From Not To Hot.

Mama June and her daughter Alana, aka Honey Boo Boo, start a charitable mother-daughter beauty pageant and they have to find dresses to wear. June and Alana are seen trying on dresses, but June is struggling to get into hers.

It's then revealed that Mama June has gone from a size four to a size 12.

"I've gained a few pounds," the reality star says.

There are then clips of June and Alana doing fitness routines, presumably to get into pageant shape.

On top of that drama, Mama June also decides she wants to marry her boyfriend Geno Doak, but her timing could not be worse.

While at her 18-year-old daughter, Pumpkin's, wedding, Mama June tells Geno "I want to marry you right here." That moment took place before the actual wedding, but while the bride and groom were about to exchange vows, Mama June stands up and says "I want to get married too."

Pumpkin's face says it all:

The trailer for the upcoming season ends with Geno leaving, noticeably upset, saying "she knows I don't want to get married!"

Sounds like Mama June has a lot of drama coming up this year, although she certainly isn't a stranger to it.

Remember When Mama June Dated A Sex Offender?

Everyone was so focused on Mama June's weight loss, the seemed to forget about that time she dated a sex offender, and not just any sex offender, but the one who molested her own daughter.

Stunning reports came out in 2014 that Mama June Shannon was dating Mark McDaniel, who had just recently been released from his 10-year prison sentence for molesting children. June and McDaniel had dated in the past, and according to her eldest daughter Anna Marie, McDaniel had molested her when she was just eight years old.

"A week or so after it happened, I talked to Mama and she was upset, crying and saying, "I don't believe you, I don't believe you, why would you do this to me?"' Anna remembered. "And I was like, 'Mama, he did that to me and I can't do anything about it. You were never there to see it. You were always at work.'"

Mama June vehemently denied any and all reports that she was dating McDaniel, even after photos of the two together surfaced, saying she was just helping him out.

According to her, McDaniel had leukemia and needed a hand.

"I didn't know how sickly he was. He just got leukemia," said Mama June. "He's got all this stuff wrong with him. After everything everybody has told me, and Anna has told me, I do believe that something happened."

The family's show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, was cancelled after these allegations surfaced, and is considered one of TLC's biggest scandals.
