Is McDonald's New Invention Genius Or Ridiculous? You Be The Judge

Whenever McDonald's launches a new food item on their menu, I'm excited as you are. This week, they had something completely different in mind.

With the recent launch of their new Signature Crafted Recipes, they've got a handy tool to improve your dining experience.

Since each burger contains a whopping amount of toppings, McDonald's took matters into their own hands. The Maple Bacon Dijon, Pico Guacamole, and Sweet BBQ Bacon burgers all have sauces and veggies that will easily end up on your plate, so McDonald's released "the Frork."

"Will the Frork change your life? Probably not." Anthony Sullivan said in the video posted by McDonald's. "Will the Frork improve your Signature Crafted Recipes eating experience? I mean, sure ... maybe."

The idea of the Frork is to use fries to help customers scoop up any sauces or toppings that drip onto their plates. It's a red plastic "holder" that perfectly fits McDonald's famous fries.

"While the Frork is supremely superfluous, it shows that McDonald's is willing to do whatever it takes to help them enjoy every last bite," said McDonald's chef Michael Haracz.
