Meghan Markle Opens Up About Her And Harry's "Secret" Relationship

People

In August, Prince Harry and Suits star Meghan Markle were spotted exiting a plane in Botswana, South Africa.

Immediately, engagement rumors began to fly, as Royal watchers made the connection to a similar "engagement vacation" taken by Prince William and Kate Middleton 10 years earlier.

Now, in an interview with Vanity Fair, the 35-year-old actress opens up about details of their romance and their relationship she calls a "great love story."

The couple, who first met in July 2016, now divide their time between Toronto, Ontario, Canada and London, England.

But the couple have a secret they haven't told anyone...

When news first broke that Britain's beloved younger Prince Harry was dating a Hollywood actress, the press was not kind.

In fact, the early coverage of their relationship was so offensive, that Prince Harry himself issued a statement defending the actress and activist.

In the beginning, Meghan Markle largely ignored the media storm speculating on their relationship. But, now, the 36-year-old American actress has opened up to Vanity Fair about the details of her sweeping romance with Britain's most eligible bachelor.

Markle is three years older than the rebellious Prince Harry, but that doesn't seem to phase the beauty. In fact, Vanity fair reports that she "is the calm in the center of the media storm" that has blown around the couple's yearlong relationship.

In fact, before the media got wind of their romance, Markle admits that she and the prince had been "quietly dating for about six months" before they went public with their relationship.

She told Vanity Fair: "We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people's perception.

While she admits that dating a royal comes with its own set of challenges, their time together is truly their own:

"This is for us. It's part of what makes it so special, that it's just ours. But we're happy. Personally, I love a great love story... I think it's really simple.

"We're two people who are really happy and in love," she says.

Could this mean that wedding bells are in the future for this unofficial royal couple? We'll have to wait and see!
