This Dress Has Everyone Convinced Meghan Markle Is Pregnant

It's no secret that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want to have children. Royal expert Katie Nicholl, author of Harry: Life, Loss, and Love, spilled the beans on the couple's baby plans, and it sounds like it won't be long until Harry and Meghan grow their family further.

"My sources are saying that Prince Harry, particularly, is very keen to start a family, pretty soon after the royal wedding," Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight. "He's made no secret about wanting children."

In a joint interview with the BBC when the couple's first since announced their engagement"”they were asked if they have plans to start a family soon.

"Not currently, no," Harry replied, garnering a laugh from Markle. "Of course, one step at a time and hopefully we'll start a family in the near future," the red-headed royal added.

On Thursday September 6, Meghan attended the 100 Days to Peace gala in London with Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex decided to ditch one of her menswear-inspired outfits and wore instead a blue custom-made Jason Wu dress, and photos of the outfit got tongues wagging.

I'm not 100% convinced that the Duchess is pregnant just because she wore a dress with ruffles across its midsection. However, there are a lot of people who don't need much convincing.

Photos of the dress has certainly sparked speculation.

Not everyone is so sure...

"Chalk this pregnancy speculation to an unflattering dress and wind," the source told Us Weekly. "Meghan and Harry have a busy rest of the year. They are excited to start a family but have always wanted to focus the first year of marriage on their official work and starting to bring awareness to causes close to them. That is their main focus before starting a family."

The source added that when Meghan is indeed pregnant there will be an official announcement from the palace. It will look similar to this one that was issued for Prince William and Kate.

Meghan Markle will probably have to follow protocol as a pregnant Royal:

Royal baby rumors certainly may have picked up steam. When I was researching this article I came across these interesting tidbits I thought you might be interested to know about. Of course having a Royal baby comes with a lot of perks - but it's not all charity events and palaces. There are quite a lot of things one is and is not allowed to do.

  • The gender will be kept top secret.
  • She will not be permitted to have a baby shower.
  • She'll likely need to have a midwife on call.
  • Travelling abroad will be frowned upon.
  • Her options for baby clothes will be severely limited.
  • She will need to leave the hospital after giving birth 100 percent camera-ready
  • The baby is usually given three to four names
  • The Queen must be one of the first ones notified about the birth

Also, forget about putting the announcement on your Facebook wall. Here is how they will announce the birth:

That's not all!

Not only are Royal fans anxiously waiting for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to start a family but in the UK bookies recently slashed the odds of Meghan getting pregnant to an all-time low. That means they are expecting a baby announcement soon.

According to Bookmakers.tv and Coral, it's just about "˜inevitable' that the former actress and Prince Harry will welcome a Royal baby of their own in 2019. Bookmaker slashed their odds from 4/6 to 1/5.

Coral have the odds at 1/4 for them to have their first child next year and the betting company even has bets on the gender.

Odds on the name of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first child being Olivia have been slashed to 10/1 (from 14/1) after a flurry of bets.

Coral's Harry Aitkenhead told the Sun Online: "Royal fans are getting excited with the belief that a Royal baby next year is almost a certainty now.

"Princess Olivia is now by far and away the most popular choice from our punters if the couple do have a baby girl."

One thing I do know for sure is that we will certainly keep you posted!
