Meghan Markle's Sister Admits To "Cashing In" On Duchess Of Sussex's Fame

If you thought Meghan Markle's family couldn't get any more sleazier, you're in for a big surprise.

After blaming her half-sister for their father's potential death, Samantha Markle is causing waves yet again after her interview with Good Morning Britain aired.

On July 23, Samantha appeared on the breakfast program to discuss her estranged relationship with the Duchess of Sussex, and admitted to "cashing in" on her sister's fame, claiming she's worked in media for nearly all her life and that just "because my sister is suddenly royal isn't grounds for me to stop doing all that."

"Let's face it, we all have to survive. Money makes the world go round. So if you want to call that cashing in, that's fine," Samantha said. "But no one in media would refuse a pay cheque for talking about the royals and as a family, we're not subject to royal protocol."

She continued: "For someone to say, 'Oh you shouldn't take any money, you should turn down a pay cheque,' go tell your boss you don't want a pay cheque for interviewing me because that's cashing in."

She also urged Meghan to speak to their father, adding she regretted her previous rant about the pair's lack of contact "to a degree."

"But I was really feeling that, it is so unfair that if there's a misunderstanding that she reach out to him and she clarify because life is very short," the 53-year-old said.

"I felt as though if something were to happen to him, and he passed away, I don't think any of us could live with the fact that he died unhappy and there was not closure. I believe in her heart that she would want that also," Samantha added.

Of course, this latest interview won't be the last time we hear from Samantha, as there are strong odds she and her father will appear on the next season of Celebrity Big Brother.

"Producers revealed that this series of CBB will have the theme 'eye of the storm,' and few people fit that brief better than Thomas Markle," a spokerson from Paddy Power, an Irish bookmaker company, said.

"He's said that he plans to come to the UK to try and reconcile with Meghan, and to visit one British Royalty "“ the CBB house. Plus, we know [Thomas will] do anything for cash," they added.

While Kensington Palace has been mum on the recent drama, Meghan has received an unexpected ally in actress Olivia Munn, when she was promoting her latest movie, The Predator at San Diego's Comic Con on July 19.

"Shane Black [the writer-director of The Predator] used to date Samantha Markle, the really crazy sister," Munn said during an interview. "That is amazing. Shane Black and Samantha Markle. I think we should reunite them."

"I think she's single, I think he's single. He could be Prince Harry's brother-in-law. Who doesn't want to make that happen?" she asked. "And maybe Samantha would calm down. She's real angry. She says a lot of crazy stuff in the press."

But when asked if she'd like to life the royal life, Munn said it wouldn't be for her.

"I don't want to give up my career. I want my friends to marry princes," Munn said. "When you're a royal, you have to give things up."
