Michael Buble's wife, Luisana Lopilato recently opened up about their three-year-old son's agonising seven-month battle with cancer.

She confirmed that their young son's cancer is now in remission.

In an emotional interview with Argentina's leading chat show host, Luisana described how it was her instincts that urged her to secretly fly the young boy to America for a second opinion.

Originally, doctors in Argentina told her that the little boy had mumps and prescribed antibiotics for a throat infection.

Without consulting with Bublé, she flew with young Noah straight to America. Since she couldn't reach her husband, she made the executive decision to bring him to doctors in the United States. Further tests revealed their worst nightmare: he had cancer.

As soon as he got word of his son's diagnosis, Bublé flew to Los Angeles to be with his wife and children. The worried parents cleared their work schedules and spent the next seven months by their son's side.

"It's devastating for any parent to receive the news we did when Noah fell ill." She said, "If I hadn't done the ultrasound to rule out mononucleosis, they wouldn't have discovered what they did in his stomach, and it would have been worse after,"

The most recent image she shared on Instagram shows a heartwarming moment between mother and son as they snuggled on the couch. It is only the second picture of little Noah that the family has shared since they announced that he was recovering from cancer.

While she describes the news as 'devastating,' she thanks God that the worst is now over.  "We thank God for the strength he has given all of us." She said, "our gratitude to his doctors and caretakers cannot be put into words."
