Mini Margarita Pies Are The Perfect Summer Dessert

Margaritas are one of the quintessential summer drinks that everyone loves, so why not make a delicious dessert with all the same awesome flavors? These bite-sized boozy pies are the perfect dessert for warm weather, and they're super easy to make for all your BBQs and family parties.

These Mini Margarita Pies are the perfect combination of amazing textures and flavors that will make even the pickiest of taste-buds smile. The crunchy pretzel crust has an irresistible salty/sweet flavor and the smooth, creamy filling is light and citrus-y with a hint of tequila. Each mouthful has everything you could ever want in a dessert!

These mini pies are bite-sized, which is great for parties, but you could make this recipe in a large pie plate and serve it up like a regular pie - it's up to you!

Margarita Pretzel Bars

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Start by mixing the crushed pretzels and sugar together in a bowl. Stir in the melted butter.

Add 1 tbsp of the pretzel mixture into the bottom of your mini muffin pan sections. Make sure to press into bottom and slightly up the sides.

Pop that in the oven for about 5 minutes. Remove and let cool.

In a large bowl add the sweetened condensed milk, limeade concentrate, tequila and green food coloring. Mix well.

Beat your whipping cream until it forms stiff peaks. Add this to your sweetened condensed mixture and mix until just combined.

Spoon mixture onto the cooled crusts.

Cover pies with plastic wrap and freeze until firm (about 4 hours).

Once they're frozen they're ready to serve! Run a sharp knife around the edges of the pies to remove them from the pan.

Garnish with whipped cream and a lime slice (optional). Enjoy!
