17 Valentine's Treats That Are Way Better Than A Boring Box Of Chocolates

Valentine's Day is fast approaching, which means we're all about to over-indulge on candy and chocolates. Even if you're not in a relationship, odds are you'll be heading out on February 15th to find out what discounted treats you can find.

We're all accustomed to the standard boxes of chocolates, which have about three good flavors and the rest are a gross fruity kind, but this year you've got a lot of options when it comes to sweet treats. Check out some of the best Valentine's-themed candy hitting the shelves, and make sure you find them quick! I'd be willing to be these ones aren't going to be around the next day.

1. Dove Dark Chocolate Raspberry Rosé

Dark chocolate and raspberry are a classic combination, and Dove has turned it into a decadent bar! This delight is sure to bring a smile to your sweetheart on Valentine's Day.

2. Ghirardelli Crí¨me Brulee Squares

If you're more of a white chocolate fan, then this is for you. The white chocolate squares with crunchy bits inside will be a sure-fire win.

3. Jelly Belly Red Raspberry Hearts

Heart-shapes? Good. Jelly Belly? Good. Heart-shaped Jelly Bellies? Amazing. These raspberry jellies covered in candy beads sound like something I need in my life!

4. Peeps Vanilla Creme Hearts

Peeps are an Easter favorite, and now they're about to make their mark on February as well. Even though they won't have the iconic chick shape, these vanilla creme hearts will have the same amazing taste.

5. White Cheesecake M&Ms

I'm always down for a new M&M flavor. I don't think they've ever released one that I don't like! These cheesecake flavored ones are bound to be added to the list of favorites, and they'll probably land near the top.

6. Hershey's Brownie Skillet

If you've got someone in your life who loves baking, this is a perfect idea. The end result is a dark chocolate brownie, and they can also reuse the skillet for other recipes. That's what I call a win-win situation.

7. Mike & Ike "Passion" Mix

Some people prefer candy over chocolate, and Mike & Ike has those people covered. The "passion" mix includes cherry, grape, strawberry, and paradise punch candies.

8. Reese's Bouquet

Personally, I'd love a bouquet of Reese's over a bouquet of flowers! Flowers are so boring, but candy is something I can definitely enjoy.

9. Jelly Belly "Cupid Corn"

This new concoction isn't for me, but any people out there who love candy corn will love the new "Cupid Corn" that Jelly Belly is releasing. The strawberry-flavored candy is a Valentine's Day specialty.

10. "Dunk In Love" Oreos

If I woke up on Valentine's Day to a bag of original Oreos, I'd be thrilled. But if I woke up to a bag of these Oreos, well I'd be the happiest person on earth. They boast a "sweet and tangy" creme, which consumers have said tastes like cherry limeade.

11. Dove Pink Champagne & Milk Chocolate

Champagne is a staple for most Valentine's Day, so it's really appreciate that Dove decided to combine pink champagne with milk chocolate to make these cute little hearts!

12. Peep's Love Bird Pop

More Peeps, more happiness! These ones come on a stick, making them the equivalent of a bouquet, right?

13. Reese's Cookie Skillet

Another delightful skillet gift. This time, the end result is a Reese's cookie, which sounds like heaven in a pan.

14. Starbursts Heart-Shaped Jelly Beans

Starbursts jelly beans are something I never thought I'd see, but now that I have, I need to eat all of them. They only come in strawberry and cherry, which isn't an issue...those are the best flavors anyway.

15. Red Velvet Lindor Truffles

These are an intriguing flavor to me, as red velvet is really just chocolate with red food coloring. I mean, there's more to it, but that's more or less it. Either way, I'll try these no questions asked.

16. Giant Ferrero Rocher

It's a giant Ferrero Rocher. Do I really need to say more?

17. Hershey's Molten Lava Kisses

New Hershey's Kisses flavors aren't totally unusual, but these ones have a "molten" filling inside, which makes them the most exciting new flavor to date (at least in my books!)
