No One Asked This Walmart Employee To Do What he Did, But Now His Act Of Kindness Is Going Viral

With all the negativity and hate that's been in the world as of late, any news that reminds us that there is some good left in this world is welcomed. This story about an incident that took place between a Walmart employee and an elderly customer will restore your faith in humanity.

Brittany McKee was making her way through a Walmart store in Evans, Georgia when she stumbled upon a heartwarming scene that she couldn't help but share on Facebook.

Brittany was shopping with her husband when they noticed a senior "passed out and fallen on the floor" near the refrigerated section. As a registered nurse, Brittany didn't think twice about offering help and the woman soon "regained orientation."

While they waited for an ambulance to arrive, the woman explained that she collapsed due to dizziness caused by the blood thinners she was taking.

But through the entire ordeal, an employee named Jason Lewis stood out from the rest of the "amazing" Walmart staff that came to the ill customer's aid.

What did Jason do that earned him so much praise?

"This man [Jason], no questions asked, got down on the floor with this woman and supported her back so she could lean against him," Brittany wrote on Facebook.

"He literally got down on the floor ... not because he was asked to do it, he wasn't, but because he wanted to."

Manager Jason told local news station WRDW that he noticed the woman starting to lose consciousness again so he immediately got down to offer some back support and keep her alert. He stayed with the woman for nearly 30 minutes and they "talked about life."

"The media lately shows our country divided, filled with hate and racial tension, but this right here was one human being loving and serving another without condition of race or obligation," Brittany remarked in her post.

Jason did not notice Brittany taking his photo with the customer, so he was taken aback when his wife told him about his viral fame.

"I just wanted to live a good life and that's just one of the results of it "” being able to render help when it's actually needed," Jason said.

Brittany's post has gotten 1.2 million views and over 500,000 shares in just a matter of days. She made sure to remind people that "we are human beings, each and every one of us regardless of how much pigmentation our skin has or doesn't have."

"I couldn't help but share because the media doesn't seem to report this... the unity and the positive that occurs. This right here is real life, this is what it's all about, not hate,️" she concluded.
