Pillsbury's New Creation Is A Miracle For Busy Bakers

Fine Cooking / Shared Food

If you love to bake, or try to recreate the incredible desserts you've seen on TV shows like Master Chef, you know how aggravating it can be to use a pastry bag. Managing to squirt out just the right amount of frosting is one thing, but managing to actually fill up the flimsy bag without spilling any in the first place is a real challenge.

It's amazing that until now no one had thought of a better way of doing things. But bakers around the world can finally breathe a sigh of relief, because Pillsbury's latest invention has solved the problem for good.

Starting soon, the company will be selling pre-filled pastry bags.

Each bag is like a 16oz tub of the company's classic Creamy Supreme frosting, but the bag is pre-loaded so there's no muss, no fuss and a very easy clean-up.

The bags will come in 4 flavors: chocolate, fudge, vanilla and cream cheese. They also feature a special adjustable cap, so they're perfect for adding details like stars, rosettes, swirls and waves when you're decorating. They'll be available in stores nationwide soon.

Now that we've got you excited to try these new pastry bags out, click the next page for some recipes that they would be perfect for!

It turns out pastry bags are surprisingly versatile. While we mainly think of them as an easy way to top desserts like cupcakes, you can even break them out at dinner time if you're feeling really creative. Try one of these recipes the next time you want to test your skills with the pastry bag.
