Pink's Husband Reveals Their Son Is Suffering From Hand-Foot-And-Mouth Disease

Although you might know Pink as a Grammy Award-winning singer, to her children, she's simply just "mom."

And as any parent will know, while raising your kids is one of the greatest joys on Earth, it can be tough at times, especially when they get sick.

Pink is currently on her Beautiful Trauma world tour, but unfortunately, it's not going as well as expected.

Earlier this month, the "What About Us" singer was hospitalized twice in Sydney, Australia - once for dehydration and the other for a gastric virus, causing her to cancel a few tour dates.

She disputed the press' insinuation she canceled the shows so she could hangout on the beach with her children, seven-year-old Willow and Jameson, 20 months, but now it looks like she and her husband Carey Hart are about to take on more flack for their parenting decisions.

Although Pink has been mommy-shamed before, fans are criticizing the couple after Hart posted two photos of their sick children Instagram.

"Wanna know how glamorous tour can be? Jameson has hand, foot, and mouth; and willow has a 102 temp. Both kids laid up and mama @pink still has to push through and do shows," the BMX rider captioned the pictures.

"I had Jameson at breakfast yesterday and this vile woman at the table next to us kept staring at him with a shitty look on her face. I told her it was bed bugs 😂. #NoRestForTheWicked #LifeInHotels."

Even though the post was simply meant to give an inside look into the family's lives, social media users were quick to throw in their two cents.

"Pink I love you but why would you take him to breakfast looking like that? ... People don't know what is going on for all they know he has something contagious so it's only human to be grossed out or at least concerned," one person wrote.

"It is very contagious and taking your kid out and about while they have it is not a good idea, that's how other people can get it also. Just get breakfast delivered seriously!" someone else said.

Another chimed in, "When a person decides to have children...they become the priority! Give it up Pink!"

When Hart saw the negative comments, he wrote back, "Are you serious???? You are what's wrong with this judgmental world."

Luckily, fans of the couple came to their defense, applauding the pair for showing a realistic side to showbiz life.

"You guys are an awesome family and I really admire how you show that your just as normal as the rest of us. And ma @pink is definitely bad"” chick pulling double duty, mommy shifts and touring duty... Mad respect you both.💪💍," an Instagram user commented.

"Keepin it real 🙌🏽 Parenthood isnt all fun and games, even harder having to do it in the public for all to judge and criticise 🤦🏽"â™€ï¸ You both are amazing hands on parents. Love and light all the way 💕 Sending good vibes for the kids. Get well soon kiddo's [sic] 😃," another added.

The Mayo Clinic classifies hand-foot-and-mouth disease as a "mild, contagious viral infection common in young children," with symptoms including sores in the mouth, blisters, and a red rash on the hands and feet.

The condition is most common in children under five who attend daycare and need constant diaper changes or are being potty trained.

It can stay in one's system up to a few weeks even when the symptoms have gone, which means those individuals can still infect others.
