Being stuck at the airport because of a flight delay might be nerve-racking, and though the reason is usually a bad weather, or the recent increased quantity of flights but inadequate runways, it's not that unusual for it to be a single passenger.
A woman called Kristen Wiley talks about an interesting story about a delayed flight with us and we are so pleased she did that. The airplane she was in at the Seattle-Tacoma airport was about to flight, but there was something going on, so they were around 45 minutes late.
The cabin crew and the flight attendants gathered around one of the passengers, and that's When Kristen thought to get her cellphone out, take some pics, and upload them on Facebook along with a depiction of what was occurring. There was an intriguing factor why her Alaska Airlines Flight 748 hadn't propelled an inch.
The post said:
"We are presently sitting on a plane, with a 45 minute delay. Why? Because there is an elderly woman suffering from dementia, who is extremely distressed and overwhelmed."
The poor lady was disoriented and had no idea where she was, or exactly why she got on the airplane. She was definitely frightened, and only a few passengers could eye witness the whole ordeal because the guard crouched down the path and did something extraordinary.

The woman found support in her dog who she began embracing as she was trying to understand the situation she found herself in. These folks don't have it easy because they never know when their disorder will worsen, so they live their life from moment to moment.
"The extraordinary staff of #alaskaairlines is being exceptionally understanding and responsive, in what can only be a quite frightening situation for her. Illustrating every step, snuggling her dog, working with her husband/caregiver to find the ideal solution."
When Kristen realized how nicely the woman was addressed by the airplane company's employees not only she wasn't mad about the flight delay, but she was happy there were still good and tender hearted people around. The staff members were patient and created a solution. In this vicious world, it's not everyday that we observe emotional scenes like this unfold right in front of our eyes.
The woman, along with her dog and her spouse were escorted off the plain by the staff who explained why the passengers why they did what they did it. The woman simply needed to take her time to come to terms with herself. She felt too upset and pressured because of the travel, so the business made a kindhearted offer.

" Alaska Airlines calmly aided the woman, her husband/caregiver and sweet puppy off the plane, offering hotel and transportation with plans to rest up and attempt again the following day. Again, astounding kindness given to the both of them while gently discussing the issue to other passengers."
Whereas it's not uncommon for some drama to be taking place on board from time to time, the way the organization and its employees deal with it is what speaks of them as individuals. We are more than happy Kristen discussed this story with us, considering that it's everything we need to hear in a world in which people are overlooking what it means to be empathetic.
"This is how I would want my mom, my sis, my aunt, my daughter, my niece, my close friend cared for. "
This story is a nice reminder that we must always offer a helping hand to a person in need, because we do not know who is witnessing our good deeds and who do we influence to become a better person. Our sympathy can go a long way and restore someone's faith in humanity, and that's how the World becomes a much better place.
