Reduce Your Chance of Getting Lyme Disease with this Simple DIY Spray

Don't let ticks ruin your outdoor adventures this summer! This DIY tick repellent spray from Primally Inspired will keep your family and pets safe from these pests while reducing your chance of getting Lyme Disease. The key ingredient is the Rose Geranium Essential Oil - this is what will keep these critters from making you their snack!

Apply before going outside and reapply when you start to notice the smell dissipating. Store the mixture in a dark place for up to 6 months.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vodka or Witch Hazel
  • 40 drop of Rose Geranium Essential Oil
  • 1/3 cup distilled water

Directions

  1. Mix the vodka (or witch hazel) with the rose geranium essential oil in a spray bottle.
  2. Add the distilled water and shake to mix.

The spray is good for use on humans and animals!
