The Kardashian family will always be in the news, whether you like it or not. There's so many of them in the brood, it's hard not be. The family is known for sharing almost every aspect of their life on social media or on their TV show, but it's now clear that at least one thing is off limits: the health of their children.
Kim Kardashian-West is arguable the most famous of all the Kardashian-Jenners, but she is also notoriously the most tight-lipped. Kardashian-West used to post about her lavish lifestyle all the time, but when she became a mom, her priorities switched and she scaled back. But the turning point was when she was held hostage in Paris while attackers ransacked her apartment. Kardashian-West vowed to post less on social media in order to protect her family.
The mom-of-two has found a successful balance between business woman and busy family, but a recent health scare with her son never made it to social media, which is unusual.
Kardashian-West is always good to post updates about her family, but when her two-year-old son, Saint West, was admitted to the hospital, it all went under the radar.
According to TMZ, Saint was admitted to the hospital on December 28th, just days after the family's big Christmas celebrations. The toddler had a bad case of pneumonia and remained in the hospital overnight, where mom and dad were with him the whole time.
Saint's hospital stay lasted a few days, with the young boy getting released on Saturday, December 30th. The hospitalization comes just weeks before Kim and her husband, Kanye West, are set to bring home their third child, a daughter, via surrogate at the end of January.
Once the story was picked up by mainstream news, Kardashian-West posted about her son's experience.
My precious baby boy is so strong! After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary. I just want to thanks every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock. We are so grateful for you all! He’s home and all better. He’s so resilient I’m sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint 👼🏽
We hope Saint's pneumonia has cleared up, and that the family stays healthy for the new baby!
