Christmas is just around the corner and if you need a last minute craft to do, why not use up all those old wine bottles and turn them into something beautiful.
With a quick coat of paint and some sparkles, you can turn your wine bottles into a gorgeous centerpiece or display for your mantle. Check out this super easy craft that you could do with your kids when Christmas break rolls around, or even just as a quick afternoon project!
- Wine bottles
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brushes
- Mod podge
- Decorative letters
Start by peeling off the labels so you have an empty bottle.
Then, paint on your base color - whatever color will match your decor! Let it dry completely.
Once dry, paint on the mod podge over the bottle. It will dry clear and will hold on your glitter!
Roll your wine bottle in the glitter until it is fully covered.
Then paint the mod podge onto the neck of the bottle and sprinkle the glitter onto it until it is covered.
Put it aside and let it dry. While it does, paint your letter to what ever color you like, and then glue it to your wine bottle once it has dried.
Set them up to spell out a word and you will have the perfect sparkling display! You can put flowers in it, or even just leave them on their own!
