Christmas morning is the perfect time to try out a festive recipe. Breakfast on Christmas day should be an event! Celebrate the season with some super cute Christmas Tree Waffles.
It's super easy to make these, and they will make such a cute little statement at the table! You could also make them into Christmas Tree ice cream sandwiches if you want to use up your leftovers late in the day!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups waffle mix
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 15 drops green food coloring
- Confectioners sugar to garnish
- Mini M&Ms
Directions:
Preheat your round waffle iron.
Mix together your waffle mix with the milk, eggs, vegetable oil vanilla and food coloring until everything is combined.
Pour about 1/3 cup of batter into the waffle iron (depending on the size of the iron) and close the lid letting it cook until it isn't steaming.
Sprinkle on some M&Ms on to the waffle as well as the confectioners' sugar.
