Sylvester Stallone Confirms He Is Still Alive Following "Sick" Death Reports

On Monday, the world woke up to some media outlets reporting that actor Sylvester Stallone had died.

According to these reports, the Rocky star was secretly battling prostate cancer, and he passed away from the complications of the disease.

Photos that accompanied the posts showed the 71-year-old looking sickly, and having lost most of his hair. Soon after, fans took to social media to start paying tribute to the entertainer.

However, they were in for a reality check.

Turns out, the reports were all fake, and the Rambo star was once again the target of a celebrity death hoax.

The photos included in the articles about his passing were from the set of Creed 2, a movie in which Stallone's character, Rocky Balboa, battles non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

As the reports started to spread like wildfire, Stallone decided to put an end to them by addressing the hoax on social media.

Stallone had been the subject of a death hoax back in 2016, but he did not bother to comment. However, this time, he took to Instagram to reassure fans that he is "alive and well."

"Please ignore this stupidity... Alive and well and happy and healthy... Still punching!"

His brother, Frank Stallone, also took to social media to confirm that the actor is fine, and condemn those responsible for starting the "sick" rumor.

"Rumours that my brother is dead are false," he wrote on Twitter. "What kind of sick demented cruel mind thinks of things like this to post? People like this are mentally deranged and don't deserve a place in society."

He also wrote another message in a separate post on Instagram: "This picture was posted of my brother by the low life who said he was dead. This photo is from the make up trailer on the set of Creed. Who raised these cretans [sic] anyway that they would find humour in someone's passing? This person @rockybalboa should be thrown off social media and locked up!"

To further prove that he is still with us, Stallone posted a clip on Instagram in which he jokingly locked his daughters out in the hail, and captioned it with "Locking my daughters outside during a slight hail storm... It's so great to be back from the Dead!!!"

According to his co-star, Michael B. Jordan, Creed 2 will begin filming in the next couple of months, and both he and Stallone have started preparing for the process.

We're glad to see Stallone doing well and ready to create another film!
