Bailey's Irish Cream Nanaimo Bars Are The Best Kept Dessert Secret

Nothing beats that smooth, creamy taste of Baileys Irish Cream! Add it to your coffee, enjoy it over ice, or better yet, add it to your food! Enjoy a double whammy of flavor by combining your favorite Irish Cream with a delectably sweet and creamy dessert bar!

These no-bake easy, layered dessert bars are the perfect treat for any occasion. With a prep time of less than 15 minutes, you can whip these puppies up in a jiffy!

They are the perfect little dessert squares to have out for company. Every time I make them I have at least 3-4 people asking me for the recipe. Originating out of Nanaimo, British Columbia Canada, I give two very BIG thumbs up to these little squares!

Just the right amount of sweetness in a soft, velvety bite! Serve them up at your next get together with friends, I guarantee you there will be none left!

Baked BBQ Chicken Egg Rolls

To make, in a small pan on low heat, melt together butter, sugar and cocoa.

Beat egg and add in, stirring constantly to fully cook the egg with the mixture.

Add in the graham crumbs, coconut and walnuts. Mix together until well combined.

Press the mixture into the bottom of a lined 9í—9 inch baking pan. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix together butter, icing sugar and Baileys until very smooth.

Texture should be relatively thick but easily spreadable.

Spread mixture over the previous layer in your baking dish. Chill in the fridge for several hours prior to adding the final layer.

To prepare the topping, melt the chocolate chips together over low heat and add in Baileys. Mix until blended.

Pour and spread evenly over your chilled previous layer and return to the fridge until chocolate sets.

Cut into squares or bars. ENJOY!

Base

  • 3/4 cup butter

  • 8 tbsp cocoa
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3/4 cup fine or medium unsweetened coconut
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts

Cream Filling

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 4 1/2  cups icing sugar i.e. powdered sugar or confectioners sugar
  • 1/3 cup Irish Cream Liqueur

Chocolate Topping

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup Irish cream
