This Mock Apple Pie Will Make You Think It's the Real Thing

If you're craving a homemade apple pie but unfortunately don't have any apples at the moment, don't you worry, you can get that same great apple pie taste with this mock apple pie recipe! You won't believe there aren't any apples in this recipe when you first try it!

1. Press pie crust pastry into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan.

2. Crumble ritz crackers into the pastry lined pie plate.

3. In a medium pan, combine water, sugar, and cream of tartar. Boil gently for 15 minutes.

4. Add lemon juice and rind.
