Sun's out, legs out! As the weather warms up, we stash the long pants away and reach for cute shorts and flirty skirts so we can show off the legs we've kept hidden all winter long. However, for women who don't have model thin legs, it takes a lot more effort.
For many women dressing up for summer is not all that it's made out to be. When wearing a dress, skirt or shorts, the friction between your upper legs combined with sweat can be a source of pain and discomfort.
Chafing can usually occur anywhere on the body, but it's a completely different ball game when it affects your thighs. It makes it nearly impossible to walk around in the sweltering heat without every step feeling like you're being prodded with needles.
Thankfully, there are many ways you can prevent chaffing but one method in particular seems to work better than the rest.
Twitter users were asked to share their favorite way to keep chafing at bay and their method is surprisingly easy and cheap.

People who have experience with chafing have tried everything from baby powder to vaseline, but according to the Twitterverse there's a whole new way of ensuring your thighs don't break out in painful rashes.
Before you step out of your house for your next summer outing try rubbing some roll on deodorant on your thighs. It makes a world of a difference according to women who have tried the trick.
Deodorant saves my life when it's hot af & wearing a dress...minimizes chafing and last longer than lotion/cream https://t.co/JKFNbE1P1e— poderosa 🌹 (@dee__castillo) June 19, 2017
According to Twitter user @poderosa, roll-on deodorant lasts much longer than lotion or cream and it creates a layer that reduces friction so your thighs have some slip between them.
The best part is that deodorant prevents sweat from building up so you may never have to worry about it dripping down your thighs.
