A driver's dashboard camera captured the terrifying moment when a two-year-old girl was launched out of a moving car and onto the street.
In video from Minnesota posted to Facebook by Chad Mock, the girl - still strapped into her car seat - can be seen falling out the open door of the car as it turned a corner.
Thankfully, Mock wrote that the girl escaped the incident without a scratch, which he said was "very lucky."
"If it [didn't] happen in front of me I'd never have believed it," he wrote. "The child was ok. The parents came back. Parents and police checked the child out as well."
The girl's parents began to drive off moments after the accident, as bystanders waved them down. It reportedly took as long as 20 minutes for the stunned parents to return to the scene.
An official from the city of Mankato told ABC News the girl was fastened into her seat properly, but that it was attached to the car incorrectly.

Police reportedly asked the local county attorney's office to consider charging the parents with child endangerment, and another charge for failing to fasten a child restraint system. But Mock commented on his video that they were allowed to leave the scene with their child.
Mock's video of the scary incident has since gone viral, and has been watched nearly a million times since it was posted just two days ago.
Many viewers praised Mock for his quick reaction to the accident, and said it was a miracle he arrived on the scene at exactly the right moment.
"Thank the Lord for putting you in the right spot at the right time," one person wrote.
The heart-stopping video is a good reminder that car seats save lives, but only when they're properly attached.
