Trisha Yearwood's Halloween Costume Will Make You Do A Double Take

While most people draw inspiration from their favorite TV shows, pop culture icons, or classic villains for Halloween costume ideas, country music singer and Food Network star Trisha Yearwood didn't have to look far for hers.

Halloween is a big deal at the Yearwood-Brooks household, so it was a no brainer for the Grammy winner to film a Halloween special for her show Trisha's Southern Kitchen.

The singer even had her step-daughters, who were dressed up in costumes, join her for the special episode. However, it was Yearwood's costume that stole the show.

Yearwood, who is married to country singer Garth Brooks, took "couples costume" to a whole new level when she dressed up as none other than her husband.

Yearwood was so excited about the fact that she got to dress up as Brooks that she gave fans a chance to see her costume before the show was scheduled to air.

She shared the photo on Instagram along with the caption, "This is not a #TBT! This is Saturday's episode of #TrishasKitchen! Do I make a good Garth? Sneak peek on my Facebook page and link in bio xo"

For those who have been fans of Brooks, you'll probably recognize that Yearwood is wearing a shirt that looks identical to the one he wore on the cover of his 1992 album, The Chase.

The singer turned chef completed the look with her husband's signature cowboy hat, fake facial hair, a headset mic, and a wide buckle belt.

Trisha has previously described Brooks as someone with a great sense of humor, so he was probably very amused by her choice of costume.

Since Yearwood and Brooks are a complete package, Glenda Martin, the singer's friend and hairstylist, donned a curly wig and over-sized blazer to act as Yearwood.

“We got the wig and teased it up a little bit,” Martin explained. “And then we sprayed it a little bit so it was the perfect Trisha Yearwood.”

Yearwood and Brooks have been married for 12 years, but have been close friends since the 90s.
