I'm currently in the process of looking to buy my first house. It's a lot of work and planning to get everything in order, but it's also a really fun process! I love looking at all the options and different houses that are out there.
But every once in a while I come across a place that is so strange that I don't know how anyone can live there. Recently I saw a house whose carpets were covered in dirt and mud. It honestly looked like someone had committed a crime and then fled the scene.
Nothing will compare to this house in Detroit, however. On the outside, it looks nice and normal. The stone entrance and white fence are totally classic, and it really draws people in.
But the second you step inside the house, you're greeted with a cacophony of decor, which can only be described as eccentric.
Are you ready to see what it looks like?
When you first look inside the home, you're greeted with pure-white decor, which must be a pain to clean.
It's almost like an ice palace.
The hallway starts to get a little less white, with a checkered floor and mirrored ceiling.
Then of course there are the small statues at the dinner table.
Don't forget about the tiny men on the stove!
Or the "Under the Sea" themed bathroom.
I know it's hard to tell, but this ceiling is actually crocheted.
The bedroom honestly feels like a shrine that a weird cult leader would worship at...but a super comfortable one.
This bathroom isn't themed necessarily, but it's certainly different.
There's also the other bedroom which is similar to the first, just in a different color scheme.
Of course, no house would be complete without a basement (dungeon?)
Why does it look foggy?
This bathroom is...something else.
It comes with this car though, which is nice!
And hey, at least the yard is big.
