Many of you may remember Sophie Rose, the mom who advocated breastfeeding until children are 8 years old.
Rose believed the longer kids breastfeed the better connection with their mother they'll have.
"There's still a lot of controversy and shock around breastfeeding an older child, and I just want to expose it, and expose it, and expose it until it becomes normal," she claimed.
Sadly, Rose's partner Danny Glass confirmed that she was killed in a terrible car accident in Thailand, where she was living with her family. She was 6 months pregnant.
Danny Glass says he has lost 'the most precious person I ever connected with.'
"Tragic news my girlfriend died in a scooter accident we had today. I am in total shock as I've lost the most precious person I had ever connected with. My brain keeps going into denial...I am distraught. She was also pregnant so I lost my child too."
Rose was riding on a moped with Glass, who suffered minor injuries, when the bike was hit by an 18-wheel truck.
"Witnesses said the motorbike was travelling in the left lane northbound and pulled out to drive around a parked car, and was struck by the truck. The woman was then run over by the truck and sustained fatal head injuries," said Thai authorities.
Sophie Rose leaves behind her boyfriend, Danny Glass, and her 5-year-old son Shaye.
