Woman Who Didn't Know She was Pregnant Gives Birth In a Grocery Store Bathroom

When a mother of a 10-month-old baby walked into her local supermarket to get groceries, she walked out with far more than she expected.

Unaware she was pregnant, Ashleigh Miller-Cross ended up the the restroom of the grocery store literally giving birth when the store's assistant manager walked in.

"I opened the door and Ashleigh was there and the baby was halfway out," She just screamed at me, 'I'm having a baby!' and I automatically grabbed my phone and dialed 911," Malcolm Comeau said.

The Bayers Lake Atlantic Superstore fortunately had a medical facility on site, that's when Comeau went to get the attention of a doctor.

"I peeked back in, the baby had been born. He was fine. He was breathing," Comeau said.

Miller-Cross didn't realize she was pregnant again, having only given birth 10 months previous to her daughter.

"I didn't grow any extra," she told CTV. "I was just the same size. I didn't have any cravings."

There has been an outpouring of support for the family since the surprise birth.

Ashleigh Miller-Cross and her husband, Kyle Cross, returned to the Atlantic Superstore in Bayers Lake with their daughter, Mia, and newest addition, Ezra, in tow where they received another surprise.

The superstore donated a year's worth of diapers to the growing Miller-Cross family.

52 weeks of diapers will really help the family of four, since they weren't prepared to have another baby just yet.

Also after hearing their story a photographer wanted to capture the moment of this new baby's arrival.

Jen of Branches Photography reached out to capture Ezra in a few adorable shots, paying respect to how she came into the world.

"I was so excited to meet baby Ezra yesterday! He surprised his mother by making his unexpected arrival in a grocery store bathroom!" said Jen.

Congratulations to the whole family!
