Nothing could be more disappointing than opening your favorite tub of ice cream and finding ice crystals covering the top of your dessert.
Fight freezer burn and save space in your freezer with this simple trick.
Trim away the excess container as you scoop out the ice cream to prevent air from getting trapped and burning your delicious creamy treat.
America's Test Kitchen suggests you grab a pair of scissors and cut off the top of the ice cream container to that the container is level with the amount of ice cream left. Then just put the lid back on, and put this now smaller container back in the freezer which now takes up less space and doesn't leave your ice cream burned from the frigid temperatures.
If only ice cream lasted this long at my house!
