Survey Reveals What Percentage Of People Would Risk Their Lives For Their Cat

When we talk about pets we often call them loyal, but the truth is the relationship goes both ways. We live with our pets for years, spend money on them and basically share our lives with these furry friends.

So maybe it's not surprising that a new survey confirms that lots of pet owners would do anything - and we mean anything - for their animals.

A survey of 1,000 people in the UK by pet insurance company Helpucover found that 42% of them would run into a burning building if their dog was trapped inside. And that's not all!

When it comes to relationships, a small number of people would actually choose their pets over their significant others. An incredible 25% of people said if they had to choose between their pet and their boy or girlfriend, they'd take the cat every time.

Even more shocking, 1 in 10 married people would actually divorce their spouse if they were unfriendly towards their pet.

And money is no objection for true pet lovers either. 12% say they would put another mortgage on their home to pay for an operation their pet needed.

Even death can't keep pet owners from their four-legged companions. Almost 20% say their pets are getting money in their will.

What do you think of this? Would you do anything for your cat?
