Since the dawn of humankind, people have been interested by the sky and what lies beyond.

Some people still look to the sky for answers, and associate cloud shapes with messages from a higher power.

For example, last month, a woman's footage of what she said to be God "walking" in the clouds went viral.

"Look at that hole right in the sky... that's who's got the power," the woman in the video said.

And a few weeks ago, there was another recorded incident of the clouds sharing a "message from God."

A Texas couple captured an incredible cloud formation of an angel-shaped cloud, leaving them and everyone who saw the image in awe.

The man who took the shot said he believed the "glowing" angel in the sky was a sign that "everything would be okay."

What if the incredible sight in the sky is not the clouds, but a disc-shaped flying object?

A North Carolina man revealed shocking footage of an usual flying object in the sky, and some people believe it belongs to aliens.

The video, posted by Jason Swing on May 29, was taken over Lake Norman, and has so far been viewed more than 250,000 times.

In the video's description, Swing says that he was at work at 10:30 a.m. on a rainy day, and when the rain stopped, he noticed the "spacecraft."

Not everyone is convinced this footage is real, citing how shaky the video is.

"Next time you try and film a UFO, please try to jump around a little more.  Also, adding a degree of blur would be a good touch. Geez."

"LOL could see the spaceship but couldn't see your zoom or that sign that you could have used to steady your camera movement. Another hoax."

Others believe Swing made a mistake, and actually spotted a GoodYear Blimp.

"Looks like a blimp," someone commented.

The people who thought it was a blimp might actually be right after all!

"We don't want to get in the way of a good story, but that's definitely us," the GoodYear Blimp account wrote, according to the Daily Mail. "We left the Charlotte area 5/29 after covering the Coke 600."
