Updates: Beth Chapman's Coma Continues & Dog Has Spoken Out

Yesterday we learned that family sources told TMZ that Beth Chapman was not expected to recover and leave the hospital, and the family is preparing for the worst.

On Sunday, in a statement made to Hawaii News Now, the Chapmans revealed that Beth is in a medically-induced coma in the ICU at Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu. The family “humbly ask everyone to please pray for Beth," and offer their "sincere thanks to everyone for their prayers throughout Beth’s battle with cancer.”

Dog confirmed the news on his Facebook page, sharing the article, and tweeted out a message after the news broke.

Last night Dog took to Twitter to dispute the claims about the seriousness of Beth's illness.

Fans were quick to weigh in with prayers and well wishes:

Other members of the dog pound have weighed in with prayers and support too.

You may remember Bobby Brown, a Colorado bail bondsman who has been a part of the hit show for years, retweeted Dog's call for prayers from fans and added his own message.

Baby Lyssa tweeted a throwback pic of her and Beth. Just last month, Beth was in a bitter social media feud with Lyssa. It's nice to see that Lyssa is by Beth’s side throughout this difficult time, as the family has rallied around the 51-year-old and is putting on a united front.

Rainy Robinson, from the hit show Dog's Most Wanted shared this heartfelt message.

Leland shared this image of him and Beth.

Bonnie Chapman is by her mom’s, side as she remains hospitalized and in a medically induced coma. The 20-year-old shared a pic from Beth’s bedside on June 26.

While sources said there is very little that can be done for Beth at this moment, the family was still said to be discussing life support options with her doctors — including the possibility of her undergoing a tracheotomy procedure to have a feeding tube inserted into her body.

We will post any updates as they happen.

Sincere prayers for Beth. And prayers of strength and comfort for all of the Chapman Family
