Breakfast can be so much fun, especially on the weekend when you've got a little bit more time to spend on a more extravagant meal! Pancakes are a big winner in my house, and this hack to make shaped has come in handy especially when the little ones are chowing down!
All you need to make any shaped pancake you like is a metal cookie cutter! Spray it down well with non-stick spray and bake up as many pancakes are you want! Regular pancakes are yummy, but it's so much better eating a star- or heart-shaped one!
Ingredients:
- Pancake mix and required ingredients as per box
- Cookie cutter(s) in desired shape(s)
- Non-stick spray and/or butter
Directions:
Prepare pancake mix according to box directions.
Spray cookie cutter with non-stick spray.
Put a little bit of butter in the pan. Place cookie cutter in the pan and spoon batter into it.
Wait a minute, then flip with cookie cutter. Cook other side until golden brown.
Remove from the pan and carefully remove from cookie cutter.
