10 Actors Who Are Surprisingly Difficult To Work With

Hindustan Times / Daily Mail

Workplace drama will never cease to exist. When you put a bunch of people with different personalities together, there's bound to be some conflict.

The fact is, you're not going to get along with everybody, and not everybody is going to get along with you.

But there are just some people that no one likes to work with, and these 10 actors are starting to build up quite the reputation for their antics.

1. Jennifer Lopez

Like many famous singer/actors, they have quite the reputation for being aliz diva.

Lopez is known for being quite demanding. She has a list of things she wants when she's going to do a performance that must be met, or else she won't perform.

Demands include staying in five-star hotel rooms and a private plane. Of course, the self-made millionaire won't be spending her own money on that.

2. Bruce Willis

The hero on our screen definitely does not have the same character traits as the man we see in real life. If it's not his way, it's the highway.

In the 2010 film Cop Out, director Kevin Smith called the actor a "f***** dick" for being rude and refusing to participate in promotional work for the film.

Also, for the third installment of Expendables, the production crew decided that Willis shouldn't even be a part of it if he was going to keep demanding more money. His former costar Sylvestor Stallone called him "greedy and lazy" on social media.

3. Russell Crowe

I always feel excited when I hear that a new Russell Crowe movie is coming out. He's a great actor and appears to be a well-rounded person, but my perception of him changed when I learned how he treated people when the cameras stopped rolling.

The New Zealand-born actor has quite the temper, which causes him to cuss people out and sometimes even fight them. Some people have hated working with him so much that they're willing to find another actor to take his place.

In 2002, Crowe yelled at a British Academy Film Awards producer because his acceptance speech for A Beautiful Mind had to be cut short. Talk about dramatic.

These next actors are considered to be even worse!

4. Julia Roberts

Roberts is one of the most well-payed celebrities in Hollywood, so perhaps all that fame and fortune has gone to her head.

When she played the role of Tinkerbell in the 1991 fantasy film Hook, she was called "Tinkerhell" by the crew. Director Steven Spielberg told 60 Minutes that he'd never work with her again.

George Clooney also didn't have anything nice to share about his costar when they filmed the 2013 dark comedy film August: Osage County.

"Julia is an alcoholic. It was easier to work with her because you just offer her booze, apply that with anything," he said at the American Film Institute Festival screening of the film.

5. Charlie Sheen

This one is not so surprising. Charlie Sheen has always had a bad reputation for being just like the character he played on Two and A Half Men.

The production staff on the hit TV show would probably like it better if he wasn't so similar to who he played. People Magazine reported that Sheen was quite the party animal. He missed rehearsals and was known for having "erratic outbursts" on set.

6. Marlon Brando

The acting legend known for his iconic role in The Godfather started to get a bad reputation in Hollywood when he just stopped caring about acting.

By the 90s, there were times he would stop learning his lines, refused to wear pants during rehearsals, claimed he was allergic to costars, and would arrive late to film his scenes.

Does it matter how good of an actor you are if you can't get along with your coworkers?

These next actors also lacked professionalism...

7. Lindsay Lohan

The child star has had a rough ride in the past decade, which hasn't made her easy to work with.

As she struggled with addiction, Lohan reportedly arrived to work late and got upset over nothing when filming scenes and stormed off set.

"Producing a movie with Lindsay is not for the faint of heart," Liz & Dick executive producer Larry Thompson said, according to E! News. "We had serious challenges to deal with due to her probation and her history."

8. Christian Bale

The guy who played Batman isn't all he's made out to be. He's reportedly quite demanding of his costars because he's a perfectionist.

Watch this behind-the-scenes footage of Christian Bale yelling at the director of photography on the set of Terminator Salvation.

The actor was furious when the director walked on set while he was acting out a scene. If you ask me, his response was quite rude and unnecessary.

9. Shia LaBeouf

Shia LaBeouf is another child star who thinks he's all that. He's gotten quite a lot of acting gigs, and his movies are loved by millions around the world. But when filming stops, the young man is not so cute in person.

While filming Fury, Brad Pitt and LaBeouf punched each other on set. Despite saying that the tension between them died soon after, I don't think there's anyone in the world who would like to get beat up at work.

10. Lea Michele

Glee actress, Lea Michele, is nothing like Rachel Berry, aside from having an amazing voice (of course). She was reportedly rude to all her castmates, and like most of these divas, it was her way or the highway.

She worked whenever was reasonable for her, so everybody else's schedule had to work with hers. Sometimes she would make people wait until she was ready to perform and would refuse to speak to some of her coworkers.

Have you heard of any other actors being extremely difficult to work with?
