Deformed Kitten Was Born Without These Very Important Organs

Little Jack had a rough start at life. Before he became Jack, he was known as Stevie Wonder.

His mother, a recently spayed barn cat, gave birth to a single, deformed kitten at a riding stable in rural Canada. The mother was unable to produce milk, so little Stevie had to be hand fed.

When the owners of the stable realized that Stevie didn't have any eyes, they didn't expect he would survive very long.

But Stevie was strong and determined to thrive. Luckily, he had many other barn kittens to play and socialize with. Soon, he was romping around and cuddling with the kids who visited him after their riding lessons.
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-8.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>
All photos by jcspenny

When it came time for Stevie and the other kittens to be adopted, the stable owners were worried that no one would want an eyeless kitten.

Jamie was friends with one of the students at the riding stable and had often played with little Stevie. When she found out that he needed a home, she immediately agreed to adopt him.
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-9.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>

But, since Jamie had loved and lost a cat named Stevie, she decided to rename him Jack Tripper.
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-10.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>
Little Jack adapted quickly to his new surroundings and before she knew it, Jack was king of the house. He could run and jump, climb furniture and race down the hallway without tumbling over things or losing his step.

He loves to cuddle with Jamie and lick her nose, but his favorite thing is to be outside:
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-11.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>
Exploring the gardens and chomping on plants.
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-12.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>
He loves to snuggle with his best friend, Bear in the tall grass,
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-13.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>
And follow him on new adventures
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-14.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>

Little Jack doesn't need to have eyes to see how wonderful life can be!
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-15.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>
Now that he's grown, Jack's showing the ropes to his new little sister, C.J.
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3.png" srcset="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3_GH_content_550px.png 550w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3_GH_content_650px.png 650w" sizes="89vw" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>
When she was really little, he carried her around like a Mama cat would...
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-1.png" srcset="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-1_GH_content_550px.png 550w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-1_GH_content_650px.png 650w" sizes="89vw" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>
As she grew he gave her all the head boops.
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-2.png" srcset="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-2_GH_content_550px.png 550w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-2_GH_content_650px.png 650w" sizes="89vw" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>
The circle is complete.
<amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-3.png" srcset="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-3_GH_content_550px.png 550w, https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2235594861-3-3_GH_content_650px.png 650w" sizes="89vw" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>

Like and share if you believe special needs cats deserve a happy life too!
