Heather Locklear Arrested Again For Assaulting An Officer

TMZ/Ventura County Star

Heather Locklear has been on a slow, sad tailspin for months now, and it's finally landed her in jail.

Since February, the Melrose Place actress has had two run-ins with police, neither of them ending in her favor.

February 2018

At the end of February, Locklear got into a physical altercation with her boyfriend, Chris Heisser. Her brother came to the house and saw the pair fighting, and ended up calling the police.

When authorities arrived they found Heisser with a "visible mark" on him. As law enforcement officials tried to take Locklear into custody, she became aggressive, and began flailing and kicking. She struck three deputies before being handcuffed and taken to the hospital for evaluation.

But the worst part about the whole case were the comments that Locklear yelled at police as they tried to arrest her.

She charged at them, grabbed them, and kicked an officer in the shin.

"Get out of my f****** house!"

Locklear was eventually taken outside and pinned against her car, which is when the comments got really vile.

"You f****** deserve your kids to die! You f****** deserve it! And when you find yourself in that position, think of me! I hope no one f****** burns your entire department down, you f******* police department."

Locklear was booked on three counts of battery on a police officers and on suspicion felony domestic battery.

Not a good look for the TV star.

June 2018

Locklear then dealt with authorities again on June 17, after her parents called the police due to the actress threatening to kill herself. Because of her prior history with police, threatening to shoot them if they stepped onto her property again, multiple units were dispatched to Locklear's home.

Locklear didn't respond well to her parents bringing in the authorities, and she ended up choking her mother and hitting her father.

In the 911 call, Locklear's mother claims she was searching the house to find a gun to kill herself with. When authorities arrived, Locklear was transported to the hospital where she was placed on a psychiatric hold.

In this instance, the situation was described as "strictly medical," meaning Locklear wasn't arrested or charged with anything. The main concern was her safety.

"At that location we contacted a person who had medical needs, and they were treated by the Ventura County Fire Department, and they were later transported to a local hospital," he said. "There was no criminal activity. The person was not arrested."

The Latest Incident

Unlike the last time police were called to her home, Locklear's latest interaction is criminal.

On June 24, authorities were called to Locklear's residence for what was initially a "disturbance." When they first arrived, they determined no crime had been committed.

Later in the evening, another 911 call was made, and police responded yet again. This time, the situation was different. The actress was extremely intoxicated and agitated, which is what led a family member to call for help. When they arrived, police tried to separate Locklear from her family, and Locklear punched a responding deputy.

"The responding deputy believed it was necessary to separate her from the others," the Ventura County Sheriff's Office said. "In the process of trying to separate her, she battered the deputy...There was no injury to the deputy. That action caused her to get arrested."

Paramedics then showed up on scene, and while they were putting her on the gurney, Locklear kicked an EMT.

Locklear was taken to hospital where she was evaluated, presumably both mentally and physically, and was then transported to jail where she was booked for two counts of misdemeanor battery upon an officer and emergency personnel.

Locklear was held on $20,000 bail and was released a few hours after her arrest.

'Overdose' Call

While in jail, Locklear vowed to check herself in to a treatment facility, but she never ended up going. Less than 24 hours after she was released from jail, Locklear required more medical attention.

An ambulance was called to Locklear's house on Monday afternoon, and when paramedics arrived, they immediately called for backup after getting an "overdose" call. The actress was rushed to hospital.

Now, Locklear is said to be in stable condition and getting the treatment she needs.
