Hugh Jackman Updates His Fans After Skin Cancer Surgery

<div><p>Living with cancer is a nightmare, but curing it is no picnic either. Hugh Jackman knows better than anyone. The <em>X-Men</em> star has just shared news with his followers online that he's undergone six surgeries to cure his.</p><p>Jackman discovered he had basal cell carcinoma, the most common type of skin cancer, back in 2013. He found out after his longtime wife Deborra-Lee Furness said he should get a mark on his nose checked by a doctor.</p><p>"Boy, was she right!" he wrote on Twitter. </p><p>Since then we've seen the actor sporting a band aid on his nose a few times over the years after his many surgeries.</p><amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2261447675-3.png" srcset="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/02/2261447675-3_GH_content_550px.png 550w" sizes="89vw" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>While Jackman is shrugging off his surgery, he warned his fans to protect themselves and wear sunscreen.
