Meghan Markle's Half-Sister Rebukes Prince Harry's "Family She Never Had" Remark

Following a joyous Christmas together, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's love seems stronger than ever.

Breaking tradition, Markle spent the holiday with Harry's family at Sandringham, which is usually reserved for the royal family and their spouses.

During an interview with Radio 4 on Dec. 27, Harry gushed about Markle, and said she has quickly adapted to royal life.

"It was fantastic. She really enjoyed it," Harry said. "The family loved having her there."

"I think we've got one the biggest families I know and every family is complex," he added. "She has done an absolutely amazing job, just getting in there and it's the family, I suppose, that she's never had."

What seemed like a harmless comment praising his bride-to-be has led to backlash from one individual: Markle's older half-sister.

When Markle's half-sister Samantha Grant heard about Harry's statement, she didn't try to hide her anger over the prince's comments.

She took to Twitter to let the public know Harry's claims were untrue.

Despite the fact Markle's parents Doria and Thomas divorced when she was six, Grant said it never hindered their holidays.

She also made sure to promote her upcoming book, The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister, as she said in her tweet: "No one was estranged, she was just too busy. Read my book complete with facts and photos."

While Harry recently said the couple haven't made the guest list for their May 19th wedding, Grant has been vocal about scoring an invite.

"It's just so silly. We're so normal. And yes, I would love to go, but we have no idea what's going to happen," Grant said.

Do you think Grant deserves an invitation to the royal wedding despite all her antics?
