Ronda Rousey Will Be Making Her WWE Debut At WrestleMania 34

The Sun

At one point, Ronda Rousey was the next "it" fighter for the UFC. She was bringing in huge crowds and massive TV ratings whenever she entered the octagon.

Then it all seemed to fall apart, she was completely obliterated in back-to-back fight. Afterwards, she seemingly fell off the map. She hasn't fought since she lost to Amanda Nunes in December 2016.

Rousey went from being a household name in mixed martial arts to being completely irrelevant. The paparazzi still have an affection for her, and her recent wedding was widely covered.

Her name is now back in the news, for a completely different reason. For months there have been rumors swirling that she might end up trying her hand in the WWE. The WWE Diva has changed drastically over the last decade and a half. No longer are they just there to be eye-candy, they now actually have to fight, and put on a good show.

Original talks had Rousey potentially making her WWE debut on November 19 of this year, but this has now been pushed back in order to give her more time to prepare. Some may think there isn't much difference between the two roles, but in the UFC it was a real fight, where as the WWE is completely scripted and fabricated, both take their own specific skill sets to accomplish.

It now appears that Rousey will be making her WWE ring debut on April 8, 2018, at WrestleMania in New Orleans, Louisiana. The hypothetical match appears to put UFC fighters Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir up against WWE Divas Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley.

The delay is also so that Baszier, Duke, and Shafir have time to train and prepare for their World Wrestling Entertainment debuts.

Who do you think is going to win this much anticipated potential match-up?
