Sandra Bullock Has Been Giving Away Millions To Charity - And No One Even Noticed

Sandra Bullock is one the most well-respected actresses in Hollywood. She makes great movies, she's down to earth, she wants to keep her kids out of the spotlight to respect their privacy, and she didn't let a cheating ex-husband keep her down.

2011

Now with a 1-year-old son at home, and one year after her extremely public divorce from Jesse James, Bullock donated another $1 million to the Red Cross to help with earthquake and tsunami relief in Japan.

2017

After hearing about the destruction in Houston following Hurricane Harvey, Bullock donated yet another $1 million to the Red Cross relief efforts.

"I'm just grateful I can do it," Bullock said in a statement. "We have to take care of one another."

And it's not just money Bullock donates either.

In 2005, Warren Eason Charter High School in New Orleans was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Bullock donated $25,000 to help rebuild the school, and also helped to build an on-campus health clinic.

The mom-of-two has also designed a line of custom shoes for the Despicable Me franchise. Bullock signed 10 pairs of the shoes and auctioned them off for the Art + Practice foundation, "an organization that encourages education and culture by providing life-skills training for foster youth in the 90008 ZIP code as well as free, museum-curated art exhibitions and moderated art lectures to the community of Leimert Park."
