You know which celebrity you'll rarely hear from? Julia Roberts.
The Oscar-winning actress has starred in some of the most famous movies in the past three decades, and yet fans barely know a thing about her.
There's a Twitter account under her name with more than 540,000 followers, but the person behind it hasn't tweeted once.
Facebook? Forget about it.
Surprisingly, the actress opened an Instagram account in late June, but none of the posts reveal much about her personal life.
Nowadays, most celebrities have several social media account to interact with their followers and share photos of themselves and their family, but Julia hasn't been ready to jump on the bandwagon.
In an interview with InStyle magazine, the 50-year-old actress revealed that she has other priorities in life.
"What's a good analogy? It's like people talking about a TV show: I can be perfectly aware of the TV show and the story, but it doesn't mean I watch it. I have other friends who watch it, and they tell me about it. I mean we were talking about Instagram. Everyone has Instagram on their phone. [if I had it] I would be looking at it all the time."
Here's what we do know about her: She has a loving husband and three wonderful children that she adores dearly.
The former "America's sweetheart" seemed to have always been on the brink of marriage.
She fell in love with costars like Benjamin Bratt, Kiefer Sutherland, and even married singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett for two years, but her knight in shining armor was a man behind the camera.
Julia and Daniel Moder met on the set of The Mexican. They married in 2002 and are still living together happily.
"When I think about what makes my life my life, and make sense and just shine inside of me, it's him. Everything has come from that," she confessed to Harper's Bazaar.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Hazel, and son Phinnaeus, in 2004. Three years later, they welcomed their second son, Henry.
Julia may not flaunt her kids on the Internet, but we get a glimpse of them in public now that they're older.
The reason as to why Julia and Daniel have kept their children hidden from the spotlight is simple:
"We try to protect our kids. We just want to have our family life and not have that intruded upon," she told USA Today.
As you can see in Julia's Instagram post above, she is careful to crop her children out of her photos. Also, she restricts the accounts that are allowed to comment on her posts.
As I did more research into Julia's life, I came across recent photos of her now-13-year-old daughter and I was shocked by the resemblance between mother and daughter.

The two look roughly the same age, and aside from the color of their hair, they could be the same person if you ask me!
