3 Unusual Symptoms of High Blood Pressure That You Should Never Ignore

Monitoring your blood pressure is very important. It can directly impact your health in a lot of ways and can be incredibly dangerous if it gets out of hand. High blood pressure affects nearly one-third of people without them even knowing it, but it can lead to extreme complications.

High blood pressure can lead to a heart attack or a stroke if it is left unchecked, so it's necessary to know what to look for. It's also connected to heart disease, kidney failure and eye problems, so making sure that it is under control is necessary if you want to live a healthy life.

The basic symptoms that you should be watching out for include:

  • Fatigue
  • Confusion
  • Problems with your vision
  • Chest pains
  • Having difficulty breathing
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Blood in the urine
  • Pounding in your chest, neck and ears

While all of these are the most common symptoms, there are three others that are more unusual and may be harder to connect to high blood pressure...

While people may suffer with high blood pressure for years without knowing it, there are a few ways you can tell. The common symptoms we already explained are one way to get a peek into your health, but they aren't the only way that high blood pressure presents itself.

Sometimes people don't experience any of those symptoms, but instead are faced with some of the more rare indicators that might be a little trickier to realize are connected. These three symptoms are the more unusual indicators of high blood pressure.
