Making bucket loads of money is not an easy task--and by no means will this list make you a millionaire--well, not likely.

That being said, there are easy ways to generate some side cash in the comfort of your home. All you need is proper Internet connection.

Selling Photos

We're all equipped with a handheld camera or cellphone with the capability of taking photos. You're probably proud of many photos you've taken in the past and perhaps you've posted them on various social media platforms. Nowadays you don't have to be a professional photographer to make money. Research several stock photo websites, such as Shutterstock and Free Digital Photos, and figure out which platform will be right for you to earn cash.

Sell/auction/rent your belongings

This one is a win-win. On one hand, you'll be decluttering and organizing your life and, on the other hand, you'll be making money. Sites like Etsy, Craiglist, and eBay are like online garage sales. If you have anything vintage lying around, even better.

If you're not quite ready to let go, rent your belongings. Websites like RentNotBuy and Loanables allow users to rent clothes they don't wear or haven't worn in a while. You can also rent living spaces, musical instruments, your car, or a parking space (depending on where you live).

Online Surveys

Surveys have become one of the most popular ways to make a few hundred dollars a month. Do some research on paid survey sites like Swagbucks or Survey Junkie and you'll not only earn some extra cash, you'll also receive gift vouchers, free products, and other great perks. Keep in mind that these survey sites are free, so don't fall into a scam!

Caregiver

Whether it's taking care of children or pets, you can make a decent amount of money if you've got the time for it. For example, Care.com allows you to quote your own rates for pet and child care.

What's your niche? If you know what you're particularly good at, there's a good chance you can make money out of it. Sites like freelancer.com provide people with all kinds of skills (i.e.: writing, graphic, software, etc) to make money using what they already know.

Virtual Assistant

Some virtual assistants make more than $50 an hour by doing simple tasks like checking emails, making plans, and doing research. Sites like Zirtual, TaskRabbit, and Upwork are great platforms to start this line of work.

For this one, all you need to have are decent English skills--and a little bit of patience. Teaching English online has become another popular way to earn some cash. Many countries in Asia, such as China, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, are looking for native English speakers to help them strengthen their English skills. Teachers can earn approximately $20-$30 per hour. Check out sites like VIPKID and Italki.

However, if you're not interested in teaching English, there are other tutoring sites like TutorMe that offer opportunities for those with a strong background in science, math, history, etc.
